Editorial
I began as a racing-horse jockey at the age of fourteen. It was my luck to meet and work with dedicated trainers. I stopped being a jockey and a trainer after meeting M. Fillol, the founding president of organized equestrian tourism in my area.
With my wife Nicole, we settled in Pailloles, in the Aquitaine region, where we started organizing trail rides in 1980. 31 years later, we are still as dedicated and we arrange trail rides in a variety of places.
Our locally bred horses have been selected for their character and their stamina. The young ones are monitored by the older ones and the outcome is willingness, calm and confidence.
Since the creation of our company our horses have covered many regions in France, in addition to the trips scheduled in our 2012. We have organised horse rides in Bretagne, Morvan, Bourgogne, Beaujolais and Monts du Lyonnais, Monts du Forez, Volcans d’Auvergne, Correze, L’Aveyron, Provence, Châteaux Cathares (l’Aude), Lot, Ariège, Pays Basque, Gers, Luberon.
Sarah has been my collaborator for 6 years; we organise rides which you’ll never forget.
All the rides we do have been created and scouted by us personally. What we are looking for are the cultural, gastronomic, historical and social aspects. As a matter of fact, as much variety as possible, for the riders as well as for the horses; the result is that each ride is unique. It’s the reason why going on one of our rides is an exceptionally pleasurable adventure.
